Doc's NYC Lacrosse Spring 2010 Schedules

ALWAYS CHECK THE HOTLINE! THE HOTLINE WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE MOST UP-TO-DATE CHANGES IN SCHEDULE
Notes (Players and Parents Read Carefully):
1. All players are expected to bring uniform (jersey and shorts), water/Gatorade, snack, mouthguard and all other equipment to each game and maintain it at the bench area. We suggest a Doc’s NYC Bag or some other equipment bag to manage this. You cannot play without a mouthguard, so it is suggested to have extras in your equipment bag if one is lost. You should also have cleats and sneakers ready to wear at each game and practice. Players should also dress for the weather. We play in Doc’s team shorts only (sweats over shorts allowed in severely cold weather). Goalies may wear sweats over their shorts at any time.
2. Directions to home/away games will be provided by coaches or team parent via emails. You must arrive to all games 45 minutes before the start of the game (unless specified otherwise by the coaches).
3. Parents who have cars are encouraged to help families that do not have cars in transporting players to the games. Please do not rely on the coaches to do this at the eleventh hour.
4. Coaches will do their best to provide balanced playing time over the course of the season, but not for every game. Attitude, effort, and attendance will be monitored.
5. Attendance is expected for all practices and games, unless there is a legitimate excuse (religious, academic, or health) and the coaches are notified ahead of time so line-ups can be prepared.
6. All players MUST BE attentive to the game and coaches even if they are on the bench (not playing), must remain ready to go into the game if called upon, must remain with the team at the team bench area with the coaches before-during-after the game, and post-game MUST shake hands with the opposing players and coaches in a respectful way dressed in their full equipment, regardless of the outcome (score) of the game.
7. During a game, all parents/family remain on the opposite side of the field from the team bench areas and are encouraged to cheer the team on in a positive manner.
